About The Author..!

"... to my inner child, close these chapters so that you can LIVE & be free. Close these chapters because God doesn’t want you to dwell in these places anymore. Don’t be afraid. As you travel down this journey, travel faithfully..."

Nicole is the Founder and Executive Director of Mission Memoir, a nonprofit dedicated to helping military members and veterans write, process, and publish their personal stories. Through trauma-informed writing support, workshops, coaching, and self-publishing guidance, Mission Memoir creates safe spaces for veterans to heal, remember, and reclaim their narratives.

She is also the host of the podcast God’s Not Thru With Me Yet, a faith-centered show exploring healing, personal growth, relationships, trauma recovery, resilience, and the real work required to become who God calls us to be.

Through transparent conversations and personal reflection, the podcast encourages listeners to do the spiritual and emotional work that leads to authentic transformation.

A foster care survivor, single mother of two, and the author of Closed Chapters, Nicole openly shares her journey through trauma, instability, military life, and healing. Her press release highlights her story of overcoming childhood abuse, abandonment, and adversity through faith, perseverance, and vulnerability.

She brings not only lived experience but also academic and professional expertise, holding a Master’s Degree in Public Administration (2021) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (2015).

Nicole’s healing work includes EMDR therapy, breathwork, anxiety and PTSD treatment, and long-term trauma-informed care—giving her firsthand understanding of the emotional courage required to confront one’s past and write through it. This lived experience is the foundation of her mission: empowering service members, veterans, and survivors to tell their stories without shame.

Today, Nicole’s voice bridges military leadership, storytelling, faith, and healing. Whether mentoring Sailors, directing her nonprofit, hosting her podcast, or sharing her testimony, she remains committed to one purpose—helping others understand that healing is possible and that their story still has chapters left to write.
